[Steemhunt] Category of Airdrops

Hope you are all well after the HF-20 storm and are also recovering your Resource credits. This time I am back with an overview of how you can earn Hunt tokens on the Steemhunt platform.

1. Airdrop category

There are several ways to get Hunt tokens airdropped.

a. Sponsors

All delegators to Steemhunt are getting a weekly Airdrop of Hunt tokens. In the current moment, you will get about 85~89 Hunt tokens for 100SP delegated. This is changing depending on the total amount delegated to Steemhunt.

b. Promotion Contributors

When writing articles about Steemhunt and promoting it on Steemit or Medium, Reddit or Facebook like platforms, the Steemhunt team is reviewing these contributions on a weekly base and airdropping larger amounts of Hunt tokens to the contributor. I have seen Hunt token drops up to 1.000 tokens and more per week. You will have to drop your link at Discord(https://discord.gg/xJtqe5t) in the channel #contributions. Contributions outside of Steemit are higher valued but will need enough engagements (claps, likes, etc.) to receive an airdrop.

c. Social Shares

Social Shares are also a very lucrative way to earn Hunt tokens. Just use the share button at the bottom of each hunt page to share it easily on Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest. If you want to use other services, press the last icon on the right (the chain button), and it will create a referral link with your data. Copy and paste that link on different kind of platforms like Reddit, etc.

I have as an example created different boards on Pinterest with specific themes and planning to increase the number of boards with cool hunts to engage users on Pinterest liking them.

d. Hunt posts curator

All hunters who upvote hunts on the Steemhunt platform get a daily airdrop of Hunt tokens based on the voting weight and value they have curated hunts. If you have a more SP on in your wallet, this is also a very significant way to increase your Hunt tokens very fast.

e. Daily Activity Participants

Steemhunt is using Discord(https://discord.gg/xJtqe5t) as the primary communication channel for hunters. The primary purpose is to engage the community with each other. Especially the channel #random and #questions is crowded. Not many know about it, but Steemhunt is also checking all the activities on Discord and is looking for community members actively answering and helping other peoples inquiries. Usually, questions are answered by community members. If there is a system-specific question, the community manager is looking into that question to solve it. A misunderstood conception is that moderators have to answers questions, but that is also a volunteer activity as a very active community member. A weekly manual Airdrop is going to contributors on Discord.

f. Role contributors

Role contributors are the parts where all Hunt token rewards for community members with roles are combined. It includes Influencers, Moderators and me as the Community Manager.

f. Chrome extension

Steemhunt just released a new Chrome extension.

The function of this Chrome extension is straightforward to explain. Whenever you open a new tab on your Chrome browser, the default page is a "Best of" List from Steemhunt of the past days. When you install the extension and input your ID on the right side, you will get an airdrop of 100 Hunt tokens for the first time.

The best part is, after installing the extension and login to your account, you will get daily 100 Hunt tokens when using the extension.

g. Shuffle button Lottery

Shuffle button is the part I love, and after introducing this function, it got an update. Now you can shuffle the button up to 4 times a day. You can win between 10-100 Hunts per shuffle, and it is fun looking how much Hunt tokens I will get this time.

The Steemhunt team made even an easter egg. As far as I have found out, there is a jackpot of 1000 Hunt tokens. Until now I know only about one user who got the jackpot. Rumors are that there is a unique sound and animation when you get the jackpot. Any kind of detail about the easter egg, including an animated Gif, are welcome. :)

2. New function for HF-20

Steemhunt is always very fast for implementing new functions that are necessarily needed. After HF-20 there are two Mana you need to keep an eye one. Voting Mana and Resource Credit Mana. You can now check both of them at Steemhunt under your profile.

3. Conclusion

Even without having any Voting Mana or Resource Credits it is still possible to earn a decent amount of Hunt tokens on the Steemhunt platform. You can shuffle four times a day the shuffle button, write articles outside the Steemit platform (yes, Facebook or Medium don't need Mana to write there) or just install the Chrome extension to get your daily Airdrop. Don`t wait for it. Just start now~!
