Hi steemians sharing with you a portrait of Vincent Van Gogh I recently painted in oils.

I started with a pencil outline and started to paint around the eyes.

I covered the basic colour tones in the piece and then added further tones once the base was completed.

This was the final piece...

It took me a few hours to complete and this was done on A4 paper.
