Wednesday Walk by @tattoodjay
This weeks #wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay is from Nadur church to the viewpoint that overlooks the Gozo channel. (Gozo is part of Malta in the Mediterranean Sea.) My wife is at the hairdresser's, so where shall I go? From the church to the viewpoint is a perfect short walk.
The church is enormous, and as I only had a 35 mm lens I cannot get all of it in the picture. So here is a view of the roof section from the front of the church.
Why would a church need canon? There are two of them.
On the way, I passed this bird perched on top of a house garage entrance.
I wonder why an obelisk is behind a wall where it can't be seen?
On arrival at the Belvedere, I came across this cruise ship that had called into Gozo. The ship is a fully computerised sailing ship. I have seen it in full sail passing by in the past but not so close. (Why did I not bring my bag with a longer lens.) The ship is the Club Med 2.

The Belvedere is quite long, with many benches to sit and enjoy the view. Children play activities are dotted along the walk.
It looks as if there has been or is going to be a show of some sort. Bird shows are very popular.
A very modern statue image ended my walk abruptly with the dreaded screen words. CARD FULL. Stupid me!

I will do some posts on churches here. We have over 365 in total and the vast majority are magnificent. Something for later in the year. Trying to find no people is difficult at this time of year. Tourists seem to get up earlier and earlier. Thanks for the tip, much appreciated.

Stunning shots, @honeycup-waters. I have never been to Malta and looking at your photos I see I'm missing a lot!
It a lovely place full of history, not far from here is the oldest man-made structure in the world (or Europe, it depends who you are talking to.) The only thing that it's not good for is lots of sandy beaches. Lots of places off the rocks to swim but not so many sandy beaches. The pictures are of Gozo the second largest and quietest island of the archipeligo.
