Hey Steemit Community, I'm Harrison!

 Hello Steemit!  

It is a pleasure to be here! 

My name is Harrison Kugler. A little background about myself: I am 24 and currently pursuing my passion of becoming a self made entrepreneur. I am about 6 months into my journey and although it is without a doubt the hardest chapter of my life so far, it has really given me an opportunity to expand who I am as a person and turn my previously mediocre/unproductive life around 

A little (more like a lot) about me..

Circa 2009 

I grew up and currently reside in (somewhat beautiful) New Jersey. From a young age I always loved the water and swimming, so naturally I started surfing at the age of 13. Until I was 18 I would say it was more 'surviving' then surfing, since I had no real guidance or help with the sport. (My Dad would not even go on a cruise if it was paid for) 

I am on the right, I was totally flexing. This is embarrassing but really gives context too the 'tool' I was at one point in my life.

From the age of 17 to around 22 years old I was a bit lost in life and ended up spending a large chunk of my time surfing, fishing, and smoking the herb with friends. 

Any other time was probably spent between getting in trouble with the law or some form of "netflix and chill" 

Looking back, that was a bad chapter for me. After the dust settled the damage was serious: 

• arrested 7 times
• multiple search warrants out for my arrest
•  did time in a county jail 
• ruined my relationship with my parents and friends
• and was an overall terrible person. 

And one day I woke the eff up. (Can we curse on here?)

To give some context:

Sometime around 2015 after being basically estranged (yet financially dependent) upon my parents I said 'enough's enough' asked them for forgiveness, and preceded to move back home with them and start rebuilding. 

I spent 2015-2017 subconsciously and wholeheartedly rebuilding my relationship with my mother and father and working a variety of unfulfilling jobs.

In January of this year I lost my job as a food truck operator, and I realized this is the time I need to truly pursue what I want to be, a self made entrepreneur. 

Fast Forward to July 3rd 2017.... and I am currently knee deep in the process of entrepreneurship. 

Note: After reading a few posts this seemed like the type of platform to just ramble and not worry too much about structure. Always open to feedback since I am new here! 

I started doing web design and social media management, but around April after arguing with a client over a basic procedure, I realized client services is not for me. Luckily I re stumbled upon the world of cryptocurrency. 

Since then I have been in a wormhold of crypto, soaking in everything I can about the technology behind it and the implications. The future excites me to say the least. Below is a link to my Instagram, it'll definitely add context to who I am.

I plan on sharing my stories of entrepreneurship, cryptocurrency opinions, and overall perspective of this beautiful thing we call life.  I have sadly run out of gas for this post (its 4:13 am) but I am looking forward to being part of this seemingly revolutionary community.
