Take a look at the altcoin marketcap history 🤔

BTC 2nd halving in Jul 16

1st altseason

Many altcoins have been born since 2014. These encountered the BTC 2nd halving in Jul 16 for the first time. For the next 4 months, the altcoin marketcap had been consolidating. Then, it had a mini bull run for 3 months.

After 8 months later of the BTC 2nd halving, the 1st altseason started, and it had lasted for 10 months. Then, the 1st altseason cycle ended.

BTC 3rd halving in May 20

2nd altseason

Altcoins met the BTC 3rd halving in May 20 for the second time. For the next 7 months, the altcoin marketcap was mini bullish. The marketcap increased around 2 times.

After 8 months later of the BTC 3rd halving, the 2nd altseason started, and it had lasted for 10 months. Then, the 2nd altseason cycle ended.

Is it coincident that these periods are precisely same?

BTC 4th halving in Apr 24

3rd altseason

2 months ago, there was the BTC 4th halving. It's been 2 months. I guess the altcoin marketcap will go parabolic after 6 months from now.

hmm.. I have expected that the 3rd altseason will start this Q4. But.. Anyways, if this scenario follows the past movements, the 3rd altseason will be likely lasting for 10 months.

Before that, the altcoin marketcap will be likely consolidating or mini bullish for the next half year, which means the increasing rate would be limited up to around 2 times.
