INTELLIGENCE OF A GENIUS

The word genius is applied very rarely with as much justice as when it joins a beautiful character of the Renaissance, called Leonardo Da Vinci

Each of his works, each invention, each artistic or scientific creation, was touched by genius. Even his words and thoughts, when he officiated as a writer, an area in which he also had important works.

Leonardo began his artistic life in the workshop of the famous painter Verocchio, but soon surpassed his master. And in a short time his fame reached beyond his land and took him to the court of Milan.

Leonardo wanted the whole universe to fit in his brain and that is why he left no field without investigating, no space without creating.

"Il sol non se muove," he wrote after studying the rocks of a valley near Tuscany, and in this way anticipated Copernicus and Galileo.

And for the party of a prince, he created a toy so ingenious, that today that device is what allows the operation of your vehicle: the gearbox, the different gears of your car, are Leonardo's creation.

And he also imagined the cities overpopulated by humans and cars and then he devised the helicopter when the world still did not even imagine the existence of the bicycle ...

And the plane, the submarine, and the diving, were thought by Leonardo.

And he created great works in painting and sculpture. And he designed bridges, cannons, optical devices.

And he was a musician, athlete, engineer, botanist, anatomist.

There was not a single field of knowledge, or art, in which Leonardo did not leave his deep mark.

And today we remember it because, on a day like today, May 2, 1519, Leonardo closed his eyes and undertook his most silent flight, towards the homeland of eternal silence.
