Be prepared !!!

In the past, especially the fryer was the main cause of domestic fires.
I am a volunteer in the fire prevention of the company where I work.
I regularly receive training from the fire brigade on site. In all these years of training
there is a change in the cause of fire risk. The devices that are used a lot in the past and
caused a fire are in the meantime more fire protected.
These days there are other devices that are mainly responsible for the fires at home.
I have learned from the fire brigade that they have to put out more fires by the cause of a device that is more being used today.

It is not the sigaret or the candles.
It is not The clothes on the radiator.
It is not the fryer or the BBQ.
It is not the television.
BUT
Fire cause number 1

is now the DRYER.

By drying the clothes a lot of fluffy dust is released and blocked by the internal filter.
When we open the dryer, everyone will clean the filter by removing the fluffy dust.
Where the most of us not think about is that fine dustcan go through the filter and through the other openings in the dryer.
At the back of the drying cabinet is the engine and heating element.
This fluffy dust also accumulates around the heating element and the drive motor.
Because the motor gets less cooling due to dust, it can heat up and even overheat with fire as a result.
This dust fire is very difficult to extinguish. More difficult than a burning fryer.
SO VERY IMPORTANT TO KNOW WHAT TO DO TO PREVENT THIS !!!

The back of the dryer does not have to open every time after every use of the drying cabinet.
But they recommend removing the dust around the motor once a year at the backside of the dryer.
