Day #2 at Phuket, Thailand

This is my second day at Phuket. The first day, we're just like zombies due to 15 hour travel time. I guess I will not book connecting flights again.

Introducing The Scooter™

I was never really a motor-bike person but they're really cheap to rent in Phuket.

We have rented these bikes $15 in total for two days.

I knew scooters were easy to use. After watching a couple of how-to videos and the renter's help, we jumped into roads and exploring beaches. (I have to say, driving a bike is ten-times more amazing than driving a car!)

Beaches

We have swim in the Patong beach yesterday. Today, we went two more.

Karon Beach

It close to Patong. Sandy and a long beach. It offers all kind of activities for everyone since it's very huge. Close to restaurants.

Kata Beach

This is 3 miles after Karon beach. Kata offers a palm-lined beach. I didn't
like the water here due to huge waves today so we didn't stayed here long.

It's the most popular beach after Patong. Also very-crowded.

Big Buddha

We wanted to see the big buddha before the it gets dark. Rode half an hour with my
newbie bike riding skills to see that guy.

Weekend Market

Phuket Weekend Market (a.k.a Naka market.) is a local market when you can find pirated goods with a cheap price. But the best part is street food.

I hate having meals on expensive restaurants. This place is like heaven if you like street food. I ate lots of them while my wife buying the wearable stuff. :)

After that "street food fest", we're at the hotel now. Will explore the famous nightlife on Bangla Road.
