Unexpected Journey

Having unexpected puppies brings joy and excitement to me and my partner. I admit that we have had adopted Phoebe as Von feuer's couple and companion but Phoebe's pregnancy is a surprise.

They actually did it - short narrative

---

I was working on a BPO company and my shift starts at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. Phoebe and Von Feuer's usual day is to wait for me to wake up, feed them and play with them. Little did I know that Phoebe is on heat and Feuer's instinct is taking the advantage of the situation. It wasn't noticeable because her furry body would cover the blood from her feminine area. One night, as I deeply slumber, I heard loud whimpers as if being trapped. I tried calling her but she started howling and crying. When I got out of the bedroom, there, I saw Von Feuer's tail trapped on Phoebe's tail.
I can't believe it! I panicked. I don't know what to do. I realized that I should make them calm by hugging Phoebe so she won't move and let it happen.



For a week, they are making love and all I need to do is to hug Phoebe and comfort her. It sound so wrong, as if I am allowing Feuer to rape Phoebe (because she always shout and I feel like she badly needs my comfort). As I stroke her fur, she would try to tell me how she regret getting out of the room to play with Feuer.

But its too late because Feuer's feerie is grumpy. It is so funny I looked like a parent nagging on her daughter. People who knows my dog says that they won't mate because they grew up together but no! Cupid's arrow strikes them both.

The Preparation

A couple of weeks had passed and we then realized Phoebe's pregnancy.
Her 13 nippies became bigger and pinkier. Her appetite is so boosted. She became so big and we thought she might be obese.

We started buying things for the puppies, building a temporary cage, buying dog food, supplements and vitamins.

We also learned that Calcium should be given to Phoebe so she won't get bald while nursing the puppies.

Puppy Delivery

I noticed that Phoebe became more playful and having an appetite of a bear.
Her tummy is getting bigger.

She would always call my attention, go to me as she stroke her fur against my legs.


She was never been that attention-seeker before.
She would go to the comfort room and scratch and imaginary dig the floor.

Then she loves it if we're going to massage her tummy.
She was crazy the whole night and we thought she's in labour.



At 4 am October 15, we heard a loud cry from Phoebe, she was gasping for air. We saw a brownish sac, which she bit carefully. She then cleaned the puppy inside the sac and the puppy cried softly. We're so happy and sorry at the same time. I myself has yet to experience giving birth. And I know it is hard for Phoebe.
We let Phoebe relaxed by stroking her head gently, increasing the temperature into 30. An hour after, she gave birth birth to the second puppy. Then came two hours for the 3rd puppy and another hour for the 4th one.

Delivery Aftermath

---

Phoebe will never leave her puppies. She would go out to pee and poop and came rushing to see her puppies.

Mother's instinct at its finest. She would not let her puppies cry. She would always eat while nursing them. She would eat a lot to give nourishment to her babies.

She is so adorable. She don't get mad if I touch and carry her puppies. You'll hear her whimper if she wanted you to put down her babies. So sweet!

Overflowing happiness

Who wouldn't fall in love with these cute puppies? So fluffy, squishy and smells like coffee!

The puppies are breastfed up until 7weeks before they got re-homed.
