Freewrite - Prompt --> GARDENING

Gardening - Today's prompt... Well, as I always said, I am no green fingers... LOL... Even my husband said I am really bad at gardening... WHY? There's a story to this... Remember back then, when we were just boyfriend and girlfriend... he gave me this cactus plant and asked me to take care of the cactus... Hmm... OK... I couldn't say NO, right? NOPE... So I took the cactus and "took care" of it... what happened? It died. Even a cactus plant died on me... But I think it's because the cactus was already not in a good condition when it was handed to me. So because of this, sometimes, once a while, my husband will still "laugh" at me saying that I really sucks at gardening.

Compared to my mom, my mom has green fingers. She loves orchid. She has many many orchids at the back of the house. And she really takes good care of the orchid (This GOOD CARE obviously is GOOD CARE, not the one I did to the cactus) LOL...

And another friend whom I know has a green finger would be @littlenewthings. Yup... She is one dear friend, mentor-friend-sister to me. We met way back from another social platform... And I am really blessed to have her as a friend. You can check out her blog, if I remember correctly (pardon my Dory's memory), I think she did share about her green projects earlier.
