Introduction.
Hello fellow Steemit people.
My name is Elijah and I'm currently deployed in Afghanistan. I been deployed many times now and this life isn't for everyone. The temperatures here vary from day to day. Right now we have what they call here "The 100 days of wind". That pretty much sums it up. Everyday the wind will blow here constantly for about 120 days. The food here is ok, we eat at a mess hall or chow hall, depending on who's asking.
Our living conditions aren't that great. I have lived in tents with 100 other people, rooms made out of plywood and sharing a room with another person.
I miss my family back at home. I have a wife and 4 kids that I have to support and I love them dearly. Hope everyone has a nice day today.
