Steemit, Am I Being Impatient?
Im used to running a business page where instantly there are thousands of people who will look at what I post within minutes, so I know how to make engaging content. I understand that I am barely one day old on here, but it seems that when I put content in a category it doesnt seem to get seen. I also know there is an influx of new members, and it makes sense that they would be "cluttering" the space I may have had more opportunity to be seen in months ago, when I ideally should have joined.
I want to share some of my latest writings but Im afraid that doing so now, while no one is viewing my posts, that they will be a waste. They are very important luminations on society that I have shared with thousands outside of here.
For instance, I just put out what I feel to be the mother of all conspiracy posts. And it only got 3 views. I mean the information in that post and the detail is like no other. Not trying to toot my own horn, but hey, sometimes when you know you got it, you just have to tell it like it is.
I know I am being at least a little impatient, but is the influx of new users slowing views of new users content? Im open to some tips on posting. Im new here and I would like to know how to get my fan base up.
Thanks in advance,
Doc

At steemit, when you begin, it might be discouraging because you wiol feel nobody is engaging with your post. Yh but its for a reason. You must build a following before you can be recognised. Just be active on other peoples articles and they will be active on yours. Enjoy steeming
You are right. Time to start snooping around.
Welcome to Steemit @docdelux :)

If you find this bot helpful, give it an upvote! It will continue to upvote introduction posts. Your upvote will give it more power in that. If you think you have something all new users should know, please tell.
I feel the same way! Haha it's been easy to push content in other places, but I'm still trying to understand this platform 😊
Yep, what karensuestudios said. Just keep posting, you will get noticed eventually. Yes, it is discouraging but it is not a waste. You gotta build it and then it comes back to you. Above all, don't take it too seriously. Just say what you want to say. Once you get noticed people can always go back and read your other posts as well.
UpVoted and Followed
I would recommend always tagging the trending tags to get seen! Keep posting awesome content and your following will grow. Everything good in life takes time :)
@tj4real is 100% correct. You've got to actively engage the community to have people actively engage with you. :)
Lol I just watched your number change to 48 when I upvoted this. Steemit can be discouraging at times. I think I really offended some antifa and my steem went..... but the more I focus on finding others I can relate to the better. I'm happy to resteem you and lift you up as much as I can! Also know in three days you're cruising pretty darn well in the fast line....I feel like I'll come back here and you'll already be a whale.
i like your posts, thanks for sharing

Doc,
What you have here is THE Inversion. The way "Business" was done in the past on your pages was nice and all but it's ultimately VERY inefficient and cloudy, Like Babble!
Here, you have REAL, 1to1 integration. Peer to Peer presence. NOW Time.
Here, you have a rudimentary system because all of the BOT-ification, and algorithm nonsense that infests platforms like FB are not present here. And this Platform is still in Beta, so it's up to the community to build those planks of scaffolding that allow them to Structure their own Popularity.
Every interaction on THIS Network is VALUE-ated and stored. Simply putting effort on it is enough to generate "Shares" in the community for contribution. But see it for what it is... A generic Magical Alter in Cyberspace. YOU provide the Magic, the Platform responds with Activity. Maybe not the kind of activity you are used to but activity nonetheless. It won't take you very long to invert some expectation and see the Value.
And in addition, you're participating in a $100 Billion dollar Crypto Market.
The early adopters of SteemIt are more Crypto Panarchists. You and I are a SMALL population, for now, of esoteric researchers. But this community is growing!
Thank you for the help ;)
