Beautiful image, a sure winner in the contest today. I almost missed the haiku today because I thought it was just a description of the scene...sneaky ;-) BTW, I got the Intuos tablet. I use Linux, so it took a few minutes to find drivers for it and get it installed. Apparently the pressure sensitivity feature is not supported in Linux and I can't use the photo software it came with, but I'll also install it on my Macbook to take advantage of all that. For now, it's really nice to have something that's easier to control than a mouse for selecting and coloring, which I now have to learn to do better.
Thanks! My husband is a Linux guy too, but he has his computer set up with a Linux partition and a Windows partition so that he can use software that's not supported in Linux. Do you know how to do that? That would solve your problem. :-)
I have done that in the past, or used WINE to run Windows programs. I will keep it in mind. Thanks.
I spent MANY a happy hour walking around that lake when I lived in the Orlando area several years ago! It is a beautiful place, nicely landscaped, and always full of such good energy! Your panorama photo is wonderful and certainly does justice to the beauty of the spot! Bravo, and thanks for bringing back some great memories! 😊
You are welcome. We live a couple of hours away from Orlando, but my niece lives there, so I make frequent visits and don't do theme parks!
When I lived there, I was on the north-end of the metro area, and I stayed as far away from "The Mouse" as I could! LOL!
Some viditors think that’s what Florida is all about. They never go beyond the mouse.Lol!

We are complaining about 50F, but we were talking to Jim's Mom this morning and she says it's 10F! I think we'll stick with 50! LOL! It feels much colder though, because the house won't warm up thanks to the cathedral ceiling. I'm wearing a couple of layers, but my hands are freezing! I miss proper central heating!

Especially when it’s a heat pump, and the vents are about 12 feet up! Great in the summertime of course, because heat rises. Lol!
Getter the balance for both Winter and summer is the key I think but hard to achieve
You sre right. The height of the ceiling makes it hard when it’s around 50 or less outdoors!
