Devil Gundam: Connecting Arms and Hands [Arm Modification - Part 19]
Hi guys!
Today I will do a few modifications to connect the arms and hand for my Project Devil Gundam.
Simple connector test fit
Since the size of the connector is small enough to get inside the arms, I hardly need to do anything about it (talk about lucky!). However, I will need to make a stable connection so that the hands won't wiggle around later.
Test fit [different angle]
At a glance it looks natural for the connector to be there so I will go with this modification. Notice there are 3 marked points there. I will manually drill these points and connect the connectors using pla rods. It's a bit complicated to describe but pictures speaks a thousand words.
Manually drill the marked spots
Since that manual hand drill is new and a bit harder to use then the previous one. This modification will take a bit more time.
Second hole
Each time I drill a hole, I cleaned up the surface a bit using files and sanding sponge since the surface isn't flat. Mind that using file takes a bit of a practice and I'm by no means a master on using file but patience is everything.
Pla rod test fit
I need to take a break here since using that new hand drill is quite hard and test fitting the pla rods (the smallest size I could get) making my fingers hurt a bit. So those are my updates today for Project Devil Gundam.
Keep on building! Keep on steeming! Have a nice day!
I was summoned by @devytan. I have done their bidding and now I will vanish...
