My Actifit Report Card: March 23 2019
Today started with taking Jerry out for a quick pee before I headed off to the doctors office.
I now know what I am dealing with, COPD lol I’ve been copped out 😅 no it means I cough because of phlegm. Essentially I’m on two inhalers now and may be on one for rest of my life, luckily everything else looked good. No infections like they worries and my lungs and heart are both in excellent condition.
Lots of running around from pharmacy to the doctors office and back again today before finally getting home for almost 2pm. Tidied up the house when I got back before starting into the final check over of my tax papers.
Took Jerry for a nice long walk about 2 hrs, I jogged where I could without breathing too heavy. One request from the doctor is avoid strenuous activity till my lungs heal.
Later on Mel and I took Jerry out for a walk to QF to get milk for breakfast and garlic sausage for our lunches. We were out for about 35-40 mins moving pretty slowly.
Still feeling rough around the edges from quitting smoking but while I was at the pharmacy I was able to get some nicotine patches, help with the cravings a little. Good news they are free from our government!
Now to try put together a video for DTube and off to bed.

Hey @d00K13, how is Terry? I think I know COPD. My dad had it a long time ago cos he was an addicted smoker. The inhaler works well. My old man is still breathing till now. Very healthy. If you closely follow the doctors advice and try to overcome the nicotine craving. You will recover asap. I'll be following your report to know how well you are doing. Get better soon please.
