Japan’s Entertainment Giant DMM Launches Large-Scale Cryptocurency Mining Farm

A Japan quality massive mining farm was launched in Japan by its entertainment giant DMM Inc.

DMM Inc. is the operator of dmm.com, a famous e-commerce website with over 27 million members.

The mining farm is located at the Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture.

The company also plans to expand globally bu building mining farms in other countries.

A showroom is provided for the public to get a view of the said mining farm.

Dubai Starts Issuing Licenses To Cryptocurrency Companies

The Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) is a government entity that improves commodity trade flow through Dubai.

DMCC free zone is a major free economic zone in the country and has recently started issuing licenses to allow companies to trade in cryptocurrencies.

The first to acquire these licenses is the Regal Assets, a gold trader that offered cryptocurrency services recently.

Sanjeev Dutta, DMCC’s executive director for commodities, stressed that the Centre was beginning to facilitate cryptocurrency market which is unregulated and still evaluating and exploring it as part of innovation and future considerations.

Wai Lum Kwok, head of capital markets for Abu Dhabi Global Markets Regulatory Authority, said that a robust, risk-appropriate regulatory framework development for crypto exchanges and intermediaries were being reviewed and considered by the regulator with no timetable set.

DMCC headquarters in Almas Tower in Dubai will be the site storage of Bitcoin, Ethereum and other cryptocurrencies offered by its company, according to Bloomberg
