I’m James, A.K.A ‘cryptoonist’. Although, nobody calls me that in real life…

I’m brand spanking new to Steemit. Being the teacher's pet I am, I diligently read through the site guidelines. As per their suggestion, I am taking a moment to introduce myself.

I was born in Essex in the United Kingdom. I moved to Spain between the ages of 11-18 then returned to the UK to do a degree in Creative Writing. After that, I worked in digital marketing for a few years. Now, at the juicy age of 29, find myself working in the construction industry in London.

PRO LIFE TIP. Keep your eye on the ball or you might find yourself being a failed poet wandering around a building site wearing a hard hat over your beret, saying “How the Peking-duck did I get here?!”

I’ve joined Steemit as I’ve always been an avid content creator. Followers can expect cartoons, witty zeitgeist observations, dirty limericks, miscellaneous satire and good-natured jesting. I’ve not mastered how to look like a normal human being on camera yet, So video will have to wait until I’ve had more practice being less socially awkward.

My favourite conversation topics are: fantasy books, horror movies, allotment gardening and where I should travel to next.

I believe in the mission of Steemit. I’m a big fan of cryptocurrencies in general. I love that Steem has been able to translate what is a largely conceptual asset class into a functional economy. Even though I am hardly an early bird here, it is an honour be joining a community that is the start of something HUGE and exciting. Three cheers for us all!

Circle-jerking aside, I thought it would be a good idea to gather some testimonials. Now you don’t have to take my word alone regarding my moral fibre.
