5 Minute Freewrite Day 106 - Prompt: the rotten smell from within
Disclaimer: The following is fiction with a fraction of truth in it.
I looked inside myself and realized I was bad, I was messed up. I didn't have the guts to do what was necessary, and I hated it. My anxiety built up twisting my insides, clogging my digestion - the rotten smell from within. I was sick, both mentally and physically but I couldn't tell which followed what. I burned down to my knees unable to move, but from the ashes I finally could see clearly to the horizon with clear answers written to my mind's scenery.

Grim looking photo and some deep thoughts. It's not always easy to stay positive in this winter darkness of the north. Good thing that were going towards spring and getting a bit more sunshine to brighten our minds.
Yeah, I've got some personal issues on the top, but luckily I figured there is something I can do about them. Like you said: there's light in the distance ushered by the spring.
It is so damn hard to pull ourselves out of that loathing. It bogs us down and makes us impotent. For you to be able to have the strength to pick yourself up and try again is terrific and I wish you all the best!
Thank you @brisby. Just to point out this is 'fiction' so it's not a literal description of my thoughts, though there is also some truth mixed up in there.
Thanks for that! I always feel that there is a bit of truth in fiction so sometimes I go a bit overboard in how I read something. Have a great day, @celestal!
While snacking on a tasty piece of Snook Fruit, I came across a delicious little platter of prompts left by the Goddess Marianne. As tempted as I was to keep them to myself, they looked too scrumptious not to share.
Anxiety is a cruel task master. I'm glad to see how you were able to work through those thoughts. I enjoyed your freewrite.
