First up though is a #beautifulsunday (hosted by @ace108) photo with a #funkyedit (hosted by @krazypoet) with Saturation to the Max.

Melancholy weather in the UK at the moment, this morning it was grey and wet while I set about the weekend chores of washing up and making lunch. Then heading out with the boy to go Swimming the clouds parted and we saw a wonderful Rainbow - which my boy enjoyed and I did not photograph because we were a bit behind schedule.

Look at this though, we finished out Sunday Swim as usual when the baths regular session closed at 4pm (although after making good use of the showers and getting dried and dressed it is well after 4.30pm when we walk out) and it was still daylight! The days are already starting to get longer - thank goodness for that it really restricts my photography opportunities when it gets dark early.

So I snagged a few photos from around the baths, this area of Brighouse is full of old mills converted to offices.

And of course newer built business premises where they cleared the buildings too degraded to be revamped.

A little light was left even when we reached my Dad's to cook Sunday lunch, and the first photo is a view from his garden at a different angle.
