CONFLUX: Finishing it!
I thought it would have been finished 5 days ago but, now, I have to admit the possibility that it may not be done tomorrow.
The painting I am currently working on keeps changing and developing. If it was a matter of appearance only, I could have presented it as finished a while back, but that's not how painting works for me, or that's not how I function. Things are still coming and so, I am adding them to the painting as they come.
And, as if that wasn't enough of a challenge, I already know what I will paint next!
That's wonderful, on one side, but it also means that the next panting is pushing, so I shall withdraw for a bit and devote myself completely to finishing this.
See you soon, I hope!

A small update of the same part of the painting as shared above.
OK - I am inspired to go to the studio - I sort of feel the pressure since I got a painting I want to finish also, with many other projects swirling around my head like bothersome tinkerbells, getting annoyed with me.
The saying by Jesse Ventura in 'Predator' comes to mind when told he is bleeding: "I ain't got time to bleed"
:) I am happy to hear that!
That last sentence ("I ain't got time to bleed") reminds me of the ending of Social Media: Interaction or Noise, Life or Death
Sabina, this is really deep! You write so well - how could I have missed this? Thanks for pointing it out and I upvoted and resteemed it just in time (day 6).
BTW, the finished piece is awesome!
Big Hug!
Thank you Otto!
By the way, I like the group photo series you've incorporated into your recent post signatures! Pure nostalgia... Big hug! :)
I got a folder where I collected (and resized) those photos to be used for my posts (adding more as I find them in my files). A different one for each post, rather than the same old profile pic.
Oh! Take your time!! I'm curious to see the pieces of the puzzle put together...
....and the puzzle is completed!!
It’s incredible 🙌🏽
(: Thank you!
I am revealing the finished artwork today, soon(ish)...
Sometimes it's hard to know where an artwork ends.
Yes and, sometimes, there is simply nothing left that insists on being done.

A really lovely and interesting piece
