Today we will continue with the theme of bioclimatic housing but specifically we will talk about how to get adequate ventilation and its importance.

Keeping our houses ventilated is important, as it helps us to maintain a cool and pleasant climate, eliminating excess moisture and also eliminates or expels the vapors that are produced inside our homes as a result of our breathing, those coming from the kitchen and bathrooms.
There are several ways in which our homes can be ventilated: mechanically and naturally, but obviously we will talk about the natural one.
So...
¿How to get adequate ventilation in our homes?
For that we need that the house has windows -obvious xD,- and other openings so that the air enters and can leave with the vapors that we mentioned above.
Windows
The windows should be directed perpendicular to the direction of the prevailing or stronger winds, this in order to enter as much air as possible, but must be placed a pair of windows, ie both must be in the possible in the same direction but in the opposite direction and preferably without obstacles between them, in this way the fresh air enters through a window and in turn leaves through the other, dragging the vapors with it. This is known as cross ventilation.
Openings in ceilings or high areas.
To understand this point, you should know the following: The cold air has higher density than hot air and as a result, hot air will be above the cold, basically the same as happens with water and oil ...
Having already made that point clear, we can conclude that the openings in the high areas help us to evacuate those vapors or hot air that are produced in the house and with that we maintain a more pleasant temperature.
Vegetation in the interior.
We all know the functions that trees have on the planet and one of those functions, we can replicate it on a smaller scale inside our homes, placing flowers or some kind of vegetation, they will be responsible for consuming the pollutants that are generated in the home, thus improving air quality and also give a natural touch to your home.
