You're nice can I have your number

... that's when busy.org tops your vote pile.

Dunno man, it's weird having an automated vote at the top of your posts - and they didn't even read it, it's just there.

You got 18k Steem vested, it's about 6500$ says the machine, you have arcange telling your last post hit #1 comments, happy days.

Occasionally, I will shit post. It's usually half-ass masked in-between my real thinkings towards the state of play here.

Life for the blogger is dying out imo. Stake is elsewhere, and no one gives a flying about investors/miners putting out any old shite to self-vote it up.

Top witnesses are doing it, major stake holders are doing it. Will it be long until we are all doing it?

Steem isn't going to turn out at all the way I originally thought. But that doesn't mean our investment of time/money is wasted.

To the guy who's taken millions of STEEM off this network and slamming nuke gifs down right now....

...The fuck son, upvote me vale 😝

Sort:

myeah. I am seeing a sharp decline too. I am guessing stake has moved its interests again as sometimes happens. I think when it comes to blogging, Steem will not be the place but perhaps an SMT will be. I keep plodding along and despite me thinking some of my posts have been pretty good, 2 Steem is better than no Steem so I can't complain. At this rate, I am going to have to buy into Orca-hood though. :)

I keep hoping someone will find a way to create a blogging dApp and restore the balance. Like @abh12345 mentions, nobosy cares about the blogging aspect anymore. Persônally, I'm not a very talented blogger - I do have my good moments, but they are rather rare. Still, I think it's a bit frustrating to see how a post that was created in 5 or 10 minutes does better than posts that take up time. I mean, if I get jp a good post, it takes me at least a couple of hours before I can publish it. Researching, writing, finding the images, getting the layout right,... I feel it is starting to get to me, and the motivation to spend 5 or 6 hours on a post is often hard to find. As a result, the quality of my posts these last couple of weeksis defi itely not up to the standards I set for myself.

At least the blockchain is evolving, and I guess I should be happy for that. But I'm impatiently waiting for someone to come up with an idea that will reinstate the value of content, and create a place where I won't have a feed filled with 'click-1-button-posts', and won't have to go through loads of things I simply have no interest in...

2 steem is certainly better than 0 steem at all.

Blogging, is fading fast though. I'm not grumpy about it, stake held in a POS network is fine.

See you en la Luna amigo.

I will keep grinding for my two Steem because, I am slutty like that :D

Slag 😍🌈🍑❤️

I will keep grinding for my two Steem because, I am slutty like that :D

Yeah, @tarazkp knows!! };)

Two Steem was a hefty payday while being a noob.

I read this as a poem.. and still better than trafs... and his alts...

Blogging is not dying, it’s just price is down and all you goobers auto vote anyways.. who needs quality? Many manual curators are still here though and I still don’t upvote this shit posts 🙂 well, except this one.

It will come back around, hold tight 😉

How dare you manually upvote my shit post!

Yo saves nostoros tienimos manual curators .

Trail @c-cubed if you are reading this.

I manually vote those too 🙂 I don’t trail, you silly fool 😜

I am. Do you #skimmed them all?

I'm holding tight but I'm also over eating tuna and eggs 😝

You need new egg recipes.. as someone who had 40 laying hens at one point.. all you need are eggs 🤷🏻‍♀️😂 and of course you need a little garden. Do you have a little balcony or something?

you’re the main skimmer, but yes sometimes I skim😉

I have learned how to properly poach an egg recently - who knew it worked better in the frying pan. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yes I have a balcony, but I'm not sure I can keep chickens there?

It's about to get hot too - what can I grow?

Balcony is for the garden, you said you had an abundance of eggs already 🙂 even though finding someone local is probably cheaper. no idea if people do these things where you live but I assume they do.

Container gardens, you can grow anything - herbs, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, squash etc. Its relatively easy.

Eggs are pretty cheap, that's why :D

I should get a chili plant, chili's make me happy.

You can poach an egg? What the?!?!!? What is the secret... I keep screwing it up!

:)

😘🍑.

Got 5k steps and a shit post in - overworked I tell you!

I think a lot of the decline is there seem to be several classes of people on steem, just as there is in any community. The bankers, those that hold the vote bots and want a return on the steem. The bloggers those that think they have a lot of real important shit to share with people just like the mainstream media. The artist, who want and want for making a pile of crap and calling it art and believe it should be liked and upvoted by every tom dick and harry, and lets not leave sally out of the mix. Then the my way of life is the right way of life vegans, macro eaters air breathers, and all the rest of the eaters are eating the wrong shit. Then their are those that are the happy joggers and do not understand how people like me can sit back in their lazy-boy recline and not upvote that amazing I walked 100 miles on my actifit post. Lets not leave out the people standing on the corner waving and twirling their silly little cardboard banners saying come shop at my place and get a fat discount while we screw you with inflated prices. Oh and lets not forget the other corner people - the world is doomed be alarmed, believe in my science guy, your science guy is wrong.......the different types of people with so few real active accounts makes one wonder sometimes...is steem blockchain a microcosm of any real village, town, city, megalopolis, or does it just reside in the mind of the insane like myself.

Well, that's just people. They do whatever requires the least effort or they do it because they are passionate, however misguided, about their topics.

Oh I do agree, I was just trying to point out how many different types are here, and in the real world, not such different places. So I'll play devils advocate since I still feel like typing.

passionate, however misguided

Passionate does not always equate to misguided. Musicians are passionate, artist are passionate, lovers are passionate. I myself do not think passionate people are not generally misguided.

Somewhere along the time line I think people have forgotten what passion and passionate are. A strong belief in something does not make a person a passionate person. Musicians, artist, and lovers do not go around bullying others to see things their way, to make people be like them. To force their lifestyle on others. Anyone that tries to force or coerce their belief on someone is the extreme opposite of what a passionate person is.

I've been debating buying Steem all week, a decent amount, and it's thoughts based in reality like these that continue to hold me back. The way top witnesses and stakeholders handle their stake inwardly makes my skin crawl and reminds me that I shouldn't invest.

Same here... I invest small amounts every now and then, but aferwards I ofen regret it. I love this place, but when I take a step back and look at it objectively, ... there are so many things that are simply wrong here (the actions of the big stakeholders, the system that demotivates new users instead of welcoming them... just to name a couple) that block the way to success. I truly hope I'm wrong, but I ofen feel that this place is killing itself because of these things...

In the beginning, the major stake-holders weren't all cnuts.

I'm not going to talk you out of a fat-ass investment of SP, but yeah.... 500k man - bring us to life!

Yeah it sucks ass man. Because of the lack of big support growth is based on the price being big enough for a post to be worth anything and right now it's in the shitter!

The thing is, I think the death of blogging will be the death of the platform. It's ok blah blah blah'ing about apps and shit but most of them are scammy or poorly coded pieces of shit!

Keep on grinding ;0)

Yeah, I should just shut up and keep on grinding - Like you and @tarazkp, but with shitter content :)

I dunno why I'd rather have a rant than post my actifit steps on my main account, but I'm pretty sure there is more engagement on this post than there would be on that content.

It's good to let it all out!!

I like rants, they are much more fun to read then most posts :0)

Yeah I felt a bit better last night, and then a bit err, why did I call it that, this morning. Oh well, it will shortly be buried in the halls of Steem hell, if that's not happened already :)

Hehe, everything gets buried in those halls after the seven days. ;0)

I dunno why I'd rather have a rant than post my actifit steps on my main account, but I'm pretty sure there is more engagement on this post than there would be on that content.

Yep.
Quiet around the traps at the mo for me . . I just keep chatting away. :D

You do a fine job :)

Something I need to find I think, that will move Steem back into the hobby zone a little.

I have noticed the decline as well. i thought everyone who is here was thinking long term and about the community. Looks like there is only a core of us who think along these lines. Your league prevents us from doing bad habits, but for how long. We just need to keep growing and support everyone we can.

For how long - about a year ago

There are 2/3 accounts with 4/500k still curating.

If steem blows up, no issue, if it lands down on a day when BTC moves 8%..

I am doing more than ever these days as I see any Steem as a gain. I can't do any more posts as 2 a day is maxed out for me and I don't have the followers who will upvote more than two a day. The only way I can grow is to comment more and more and be smarter at curating than others.

I see lots of support for your commentary, what a great incentive to keep at it 😁

I must admit it does inspire you to do more and more. I think when you have support you don't stop and just do more than you probably would. You know what it is like lol.

As the Stones already sang some 30 years ago: You're not the only one with 'Mixed Emotions'.

Pretty deep, man.

Felt the same way for over a year. Most dolphins and whales just sell their votes these days... hardly no big dogs are voting anymore for peeps 😂🤷🏼‍♂️

My boys in your city this week, Vegas baby they are going all out 😎👍🏽😎👍🏽😎👍🏽

All they STEEMIANS? Lol ... the weather sucks this week in Vegas haha

Posted using Partiko iOS

No Steemians, and generally they think crypto is fake money 🎰😎

Haha, I have the same friends but then they buy these tokens in Vegas and put them in table games 😂😂😂

I love this part and laugh at mine for the same 😂

People will do what they want with their Steem. Personally, I only dislike the cheaters and leeches. The artists and other creative content producers are same as the people blogging about their day. It's not harmful. In my opinion as long as people are showing Improvement or engaging. That is what I feel steem is.

To be honest the people who irked me the most were those sharing on Steem, they hit a button and never answer comments or thank upvoters. They log in once a month to remove steem and power down once a year or so. They have a rep in the 70s, would score less than 300 in your league and are ghosts.

I am just sad it took me about a year to figure Steem out. However when I joined the price was too high to buy a lot.
Some businesses will make a killing. Let's have an open discussion on how to keep a significant piece of the pie for those interested in engagement or a way to get a great smt. At the very least since steem did start as microblogging, I think we should keep this aspect.
Im going to sell all my Steem the day we talk about it on another platform more often than on steem itself, but I don't see that day coming anytime soon.

This actually sounds like a reasonable holding strategy 😁

There are a lot of reasonable comments that go unanswered and this is a bit sad to see. I see this from all sizes of accounts, not just the 70 rep ghosts, although they are quite common.

I should probably start the league post 😬
