Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 4/5/2024, under the hood it's been a 7 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 7 years.

There also as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "7 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earning rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and shady profits before they just decide to get up and disappear but we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remained a strong and reliable token.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.

May 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" again on March 25th and so the high season isn't done just yet thankfully. We had yet another fall from Bitcoin but likely you have also witnessed some of the many bearish traps for investors to try and navigate. So who knows when the bullrun will be truly over, I only really mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However not a lot of movement from our own token this time round compared to previous years which is very sad. Perhaps we have to be more patient, others would argue that it almost doubled since it's bottom, and so while that was something to celebrate Steem as done much better in the past. However with that it also means that Steem itself is essentially still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors. Last night I went to sleep way past the usual late hour, this was mostly because of watching what felt like a 2 hour long movie. Also was doing some late shopping, I was searching for a emergency spare phone that I already had my eye on but the company as not had it in stock for a week and now they have changed their product line, they also made the one I originally wanted much more expensive for whatever reason. When I did go to rest it wasn't easy to fall asleep, I think this was mostly due to having a busy mind but admit it was a cold night again, it's been cold since the storm hit us 2 nights ago. I didn't feel the cold initially, so think if I would of been able to fall asleep quicker it's likely I wouldn't of noticed it. While I didn't use the blanket last night perhaps I should of done so but I worry about getting too warm in the middle of the night. When I did go to sleep I woke-up about 30 minutes before my scheduled alarm which I was not pleased about but tried going back to sleep. I then woke-up to my alarm ringing which I did rest for way longer past it argh. The alarm was already set for later than usual as I want to make sure I get enough sleep so as to not get unwell. I could of easily rested for longer but I had things I wanted to get done. As for the weather this morning it's changed from yesterday which is good getting us instead nice bright sunshine, but I wonder if it will remain as yesterday we started with rain. While it was a late start to the day this was not much of a problem as I didn't have work until later but still I wanted to get done some basic chores before having to leave and I had a little extra to get done this morning argh. I also went on the hunt for some Steem the other day which I managed to half complete, this was due to time retrains but the price also started to go up, I wanted this completed today but again no time. So when the free time was up I got changed and decided to skip any breakfast before heading to work as I would get something there. On my way to work I was glad to see no sign of rain and the weather remained nice, a little cloudy but no horrible winds. When I arrived to work I wanted to plan some food but too many colleagues were around and so I just got started with work until less colleagues were around. I saw the colleague who deals with the extra work which usually means I will be working on that later, but since I already knew he would be in working extra today it wasn't a problem because he was going home soon. I still had one section on the weekly task sheet to complete and probably could of completed it last time that I was in work, but hey since I had a few quiet moments today it worked out better and I got it completed. The past 2 days I talked about how I was sure I had a fire test to get done at work but how I instead received a test on some documentation. Well during this shift I finally got the fire test, it's strange why I'm getting this so late, however I did notice others were doing different tests which I assume was the documentation tests. After completing the test there was no feedback which usually means everything was answered correctly. By the time I left it was nice to see that it was still bright out and the weather was very pleasant but with this it means there were still a lot of people around which was a little annoying. I'm still waiting to get a reply from my friend so that everybody can more or less make their final decisions about the event coming next month. However I should likely find out either tonight or tomorrow night about my own situation on whether I can attend at least one of the event days. Even if only for only half a day but I must admit it's not looking good following the structure and pattern I have been seeing lately. As for Steemit.com there as been talks about doing PR for the site which I'm sure as all been done before and while in one way adding more people could help the tokens value I believe it would be better to try and educate those who are already with us. And I don't mean education on content creation but on how the site and the token is valued, again not by content but by holding the token, buying etc. Others are working on updating the look of the Steemit.com website to something more "modern" I was very worried about this but the changes aren't anything drastic. They have got to the point were inviting alpha testers to try the work so far as been called for. What I would like to see is just easier excess to all parts of the website. Sometimes I feel have to be too much on the right page to get to where I want to go.. if that makes sense. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, more countries are slowly getting and warning their citizens to prepare for war. Such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work to remain at peace and not fight in wars that don't belong to us. Before we finish I would like to ask if anybody can recommend any website to watch movies or series for free without a VPN, a upvote will be sent if it's good.
