Zappl Open Beta Postponed Till Sept 22nd - 25th:

We're currently having some delays with out escrow for the purchase of the main domain. There has been some delays with with the transfer that might not be ready by the 18th. And launching mid week isn't a good idea if we want proper coverage and marketing of the launch of zappl.

So Zappl's launch will be delayed by 5 - 8 days to provide enough time to deal with escrows and get everything fully setup for the launch.

We also felt it was best to give people a notice days in advance, warning that we will be delaying the launch by 5-8 days.

If anyone has any questions do feel free to ask below we are always here to answer your questions. Once Again we are sorry for this delay and can't wait for launch.

We will make another post when we will launch it likely won't be on the weekend.

If you're a dex coin holder please contact us on discord. Important!

You postponed twice already. Don't expect investors to rush in.

I'm surely not rushing in, anywhere. Especially anywhere close to their $12 million "rabbit out of the hat," valuation.

I'm sure you did. I just try to think from new investor's perspective. Don't get me wrong. I'm waiting for the project to come out and shake the twitter out of pants.

I'd highly suggest not investing anywhere until you see something working or until you get to see who the dev team is and what they're capable of, which Zappl and TheDegenSloth outright refuses to talk about. There's a $12,000 USD barrier of entry for god's sake. Zappl is sketching me, and other people out pretty badly at this point in time. However, they wouldn't if they'd just answer a few simple questions that are actually things he should be bragging about, like who the team is and what their experience is.

I'm here more than a year. A lot of smoke and mirrors on steemit. Tons of projects and promises. Nothing tangible or successful for now. Even working sites and apps are dying off. Not good for the platform.

I've seen the same. The latest that I've noticed is @steepshot. They seem to have disappeared and their apps are gone from iTunes/Apple store.

I stopped to upvote these so-called teasers long ago. I would like to see how many steem and steem dollars were spent on all dead projects.

I'm Happy to wait for a shiny Zappl ⚡️⚡️!

Yeah! Not far away now!

Thanks @darkflame for being patient! ⚡️

Ask questions.

I've asked questions and you don't give an answer. I think Zappl is a SCAM unless you answer my questions, which you've refused to answer for months.

Who is your dev team?

What is their experience?

Those simple questions you've ignored and dodged every time.

Spare me and all of us the "you need to sign a NDA," rhetoric.

Also domain escrow? Escrow fooorrrrrrrr? You already own and control zappl.io and that's where the site is going to be, right?

Try to get millions from people, stall, try to get more money, avoid questions, stall some more, avoid questions, stall, try to get more money, stall, stall, try to get money from people, avoid questions, stall, try to get a few million dollars from people, stall.

Get real.

I'm also curious about why escrow is needed for a domain. Is it not available? Can it not be easily purchased? I've bought many domains and never had any problems acquiring them - certainly didn't need any escrow for it.

And requesting an NDA for information about the dev team seems a little absurd to me. I get that they might want privacy, but if you've registered as a corporation, most of that is or will be public info anyway. I can see why the unnecessary secrecy could raise some red flags.

I mean...this seems like a small-scale and essentially a vaporware project (perceptually speaking), with what may be an ambitious valuation, so the lack of many key details/info can be seen as a negative. This especially applies when there really is no available "resume" for the (secret/secretive) team.

The responses that I've seen aren't reassuring. Based on previous "dev projects," they're the same kind of responses we've seen from others who produced nothing and skipped town with a lot of money in their pockets. I'm not saying this is happening here, but if I was part of the Zappl team, I'd at least acknowledge and try to understand how all of this looks to an already leery community.

The issue is many people have tested zappl's alpha already. So its isn't vapor ware in fact he now know him self it isnt. Since has bought some dex coins to be able to test the alpha.

The secret comes from the company being a private company, the investment is also for private investors. Its not like we got some secret Illuminati secrets its just the choice the developers choose not to be public and because of that they hold no stake in the company.

Any further information requires you to sign an NDA.

Nothing wrong with being a private company. And there's also nothing wrong with being skeptical about a company asking for a relatively huge amount of investment from the public while producing nothing for the public to see, without NDAs or a lot of convoluted procedures. As I said - you should be able to recognize how that affects perceptions in a community that has seen plenty of scams and failed dev projects that were likely never actual projects.

As long as there is no available public product, then the public perception will likely be "vaporware."

But it isn't just the NDAs, or just the lack of public product, or just the secret devs, or just the domain escrow issues, or just the defensive posture/flagging...it's all of it that can contribute to the perceptions of your very young company. It's not really a good way to win over investors and supporters. As a new company, you'll need to learn very quickly how the negative perceptions can really hurt and how you can better manage them. What you're doing certainly isn't ideal, in my opinion.

I want useful apps to be developed and I want to see them succeed, but I'm not impressed with how a lot of these projects mostly lack good management and PR. It's just as important as development, especially when people have legitimate concerns.

Best of luck to you and your team. I hope there aren't too many more delays.

This is exactly my sentiment. I want these dudes to kill this project and succeed. Success for apps on the steem chain is success for us all.

I'm not trying to be mean, brash, etc. I'm just simply wanting elaboration on who is making this (as a curious potential investor). Millions of dollars are a lot of dollars.

Must be coming out now any second?!

@zappl - bad news Sir. We have to wait again :'(

+W+ [UpVoted & ReSteemed]

cant wait man was expecting sept 12

Who is your team?!

Ohh thanks for updates!

It's ok we wait patiently here <3

Doesn't bother me :) you guys are doing a great service for the crypto community! 👍 Take the time you need.

It absolutely should bother you until Zappl actually lets people touch something or gives some details on their team. They have a seemingly fake linked in (8 connections, zero endorsements), ask for millions of dollars with a $12,000 USD minimum investment, and don't answer any important questions. They also have a lot of Steem sent to anonsteem, which is an anonymous account registration service. I'm smelling shills to pay the bills, hopefully not.

I'd absolutely love to be proven that I'm wrong, but until they answer pressing questions and show something working, I'm going to continue to be extremely skeptical.

Sounds like dedication:)👍

We paid for test accounts to test the app in private... So everything you are bringing up is fud. We have said publicly and in chats before we bought many accounts to test and simulate data in the app..

Nothing I'm bringing up is FUD. They're legitimate concerns that you have the ability to address and should address. Why even pay a premium to register an account anonymously when you can register accounts cheaper with the CLI?

These questions, concerns, and inquiries shouldn't offend you. They should present you with situations to elaborate on to instill trust in your potential investors.

Your bringing up things that aren't of your concern. They are the concern of investor and dex coin holders. And they have all the proof they need.

And for why we got anon accounts is because people are nosy if we made them via cli on our own people who are trying to find out to much can't , unless we allow them that data or access to the test accounts for the alpha.

As a large Steem stake holder, a witness, and as a person who likes to protect community members, you asking Steemit users for millions of dollars quite literally is my concern. I like to vet people/projects thoroughly, especially when they're asking for millions of USD.

alright , ty , gl !
