Slowly maturely all major financial players are trying to ride the blockchain wave!!! Now it's Western Union's turn to experiment on Ripple!!!

People say, whatever happens, happens for good. I own approx 800 Ripple. I bought them when Ripple was around $0.20 to $0.24. My plan was to HODL. Then the market crashed or we saw market correction (whatever we say). I could sell of everything and book the profit but I didn't. It's not that I can see the future or I have expertise on Cryptos or I am a technical expert. Nothing sort of that. It's just that one formula I maintained and that's to hold for long-term whatever be the market scenario. Now I can proudly say I was not that wrong at all. After the news from Saudi Arabia it's now the turn of Western Union.

Which news from Saudi Arabia?

Western Union sees the writing on the wall, they need a adapt and adopt this new technology quickly or they will be out of business. It might even be too late as more and more see how easy it is to send money worldwide without crazy fees or wait times ....

Exactly, some of the first which may get impacted are these payments and settlement companies...

Hi Western Union can try and even other payment companies can try ripple. But if you are planning to invest your hard earned money, think rethink. This ripple is backed by bitfinex and if you look at who is embracing ripple it will be mostly banks.

If they are pro-cryptocurrencies, they should ideally accept some other alt coins and not ripple.

P.S. - Ripple has got a good PR team, that's how they pump the price up. So avoid ripple.

I have no opinion actually about Ripple. It's centralised and controlled like a corporate, so that's a turn-off but I really have no idea how the price action will be

You are right about the centralised concept. It's not a mining based coin, which means- that all of the ripple coins were pre mined before they were launched.

So they could inflate and deflate the price as per their whims and fancies.

yes, Ripple is a premined coin
