How are you all doing my fellow Steemians! Imawreader here! I'm back with my Now Slaying series as KZ performs "Royals" by Lorde. I know I'm super late for this but it's worth the share!

Last March 16, 2018 - episode 9 of Singer 2018, KZ performed a highly requested song "Royals" by Lorde.

Royals was a song popularized by Lorde - a New Zealand singer, songwriter, and record producer who holds both New Zealand and Croatian citizenship.

She first performed the song Royals on Wish 107.5 giving it an oriental vibe. Watch her performance and see if she gave justice to the song.

As you've seen on her performance, KZ and the team added a tribal element at the beginning giving it a different arrangement compared to her performance of Royals on the Wish bus.

On the previous episode, KZ performed first singing Real Gone by Sheryl Crow. KZ was supposed to perform first again but the ever gentlemen Hua Chenyu asked her if she wants to exchange slot performance. In exchange, KZ performed 3rd while Hua Chenyu performed performed first.

The Bad News

While a lot of international fans requested Royals for KZ to sing, her performance didn't afford her to stay in the competition. KZ bids goodbye to Singer 2018 along with her fellow contestant James Li. Episode 9 was a double elimination round because at the previous episode, Jessie J was unable to perform due to illness.

Meanwhile, Jessie J regained herself and earned the top spot again by singing Celine Dione's big hit "My heart will Go On."

KZ and Jame Li will return on the next episode to perform their farewell songs.
