It's the episode 7 of Singer 2018, and KZ has to change her song for the live shows the night prior. According to her agency, Cornerstone Entertainment, KZ was asked to do a different song because her initial choice was not popular among the Chinese audiences. So, they had to fly in his long-time guitarist from the Philippines, Macoy Portado.

By the way, their ranking is decided according to the votes of the audience. And these people pay to be part of the audience.

Her heartfelt rendition of 'Say Something' earned her the 4th rank and secured her stay in the competition. After her performance, netizens tagged her as the country's Soul Supreme.

Not only that, but the original singers 'A Great Big World' also noticed her talent and her performance of their song 'Say Something' in Singer 2018. They even retweeted her performance and KZ overwhelmingly replied back for their appreciation.

Episode 8 of Singer 2018 will not air this week (March 2) due to the live broadcast of Hunan TV Lantern Festival Gala.
