Here is a nice comment: when you feel so loved and blessed by the nature and every animal and human that surrounds why, what else do you need in life?
Also, I eat on my sofa that is currently full of stains because of this. I regret to not have put a cover on this sofa long long time ago, now it is gone. I can't save it. What about your dogs staying like that on the sofa, without a cover? I'm concerned about your furniture. Please.

Please do not shed too many tears for our sofa! It came second hand from the thrift store and cost very little. And the pets are mostly clean (except for the cat who drags in a little mud.)
And if we put a cover on it, how would we enjoy that hideous fabric?

I stayed up until 4am crafting today's post. I am now tuckered out and for some reason my family still wants dinner. My cat doesn't save my seat--she lays down on my keyboard when I'm trying to write. I'm going to bed!

The height of a typewriter on a coffee table (or in this case an old blanket chest) is just right, sometimes. Lean back, think, lean forward type, lean sideways, nap. You can get a good rhythm going.
Cats take between 20-40 breaths per minute.

She's an Italian Greyhound - very close to a whippet.
I had a pair of whippets... beautiful dogs (impossible to train!!!) My male used to jump up and grab bread bags off the top of the fridge!
They're so energetic! Did they ever suffer from injuries with those long legs? Were they a male and female for breeding?
Sophie wasn't so hard to train and was never really disobedient, but once she went deaf and mostly blind it got kind of pointless trying to tell her what to do. Other than that, though, she was always extremely healthy, lived to 18, and had three litters!
They were fairly young when I had them, under 5. A friend went to prison for 3 years and asked me to take care of them. They were a male and female- Orr and Mariah... beautiful dogs, I wish I could have kept them. They used to sleep with their arms around each other.
They were also incredibly fast!!! I made a double leash for them and dropped it while walking them. By the time I stooped over to pick it up, they were a block away!
How sad. That's long enough to get really attached and then have to give them back.
How did they react when they saw their old owner again, though?
