The Country's First Satellite Was Successfully Launched In Orbit
Bangladesh's first satellite, Bangabandhu-1, successfully launched on Sunday night at 2:14 am. It is successfully launched from the Florida pad in Florida in the United States as a payload of the latest rocket Falcon-9 of SpaceX.
Through this launch, Bangladesh started the historic journey of the country's navigable team.
Bangabandhu-1 satellite is scheduled to be launched a day before it is closed at the last moment. The plan was reviewed to launch the next day at the same time. Information and Technology Minister Junaid Ahmed Palak, who is at Fluidia, observed this launch. He said the satellite was on its way to set up 36,000 kilometers above the ground.
The Bangabandhu-1 satellite has been created by French manufacturer Thales Alenya Space. After the launch, the satellite will be operated on three stations in the United States, Italy and Korea. A station has been set up in Gazipur in Bangladesh to manage it. And the alternative will be the Batbunia Geo satellite station of Rangamati.
It will be managed under the supervision of the manufacturer for three years of launch. Then, with the acquisition of experience, it will be fully handled in the hands of Bangladesh.
Bangabandhu Satellite-1 has 40 Transponders. Through this, it will be used in internet, telecommunications and television broadcasts. The total cost of the project is Tk 2,765 crore.
