Hello great Steemians . Hope we are enjoying this yelutide season. Let me say to all of us Merry Christmas in arrears and Happy New Year in advance. Whoa!!! kind of imagine what 2018 will unfold to us all just by mere looking at what we've being able to achieve on this platform in the past few months. I know we all have expectations and patiently observing to see how those expectations will unfold.

Now, in continuity of the series I started some few weeks ago about some quotes I received from my mentor. I will like to share more quotes in this chapter especially in this season of loving. sharing,caring and giving. This is a good time to learn some words of wisdom from the wise. Let us do it once again........................

a. If the day does not add up then the year cannot add up

• This simply means that everything that God did was done with a process in mind. Even the creation of the world according to the bible took Him 6 days and on the seventh day He rested. He could have finished the creation in a day but He chose to follow a process because success itself is a process. Remember that there is nothing that God cannot do, but there are also things He will not do. Jehovah is a God of times and seasons and such times and seasons must be duly observed for the right results to be seen.

b. A man without goals, vision and dream will eventually adopts another man's goals, vision and dream. So, be careful not to follow another man's goals, vision and dream because that will be disastrous for your future.

• Adopting another man's goal or vision is like running another man's race when you are suppose to be running your own race. This further means you will never be yourself (always a WANNABE). You become fake and counterfeit due to the established fact of been some else. Fulfilling destiny with kind of life style becomes difficult and frustrating. The only solution is to starts being yourself. Selah!

c. A son will always change (repent) at rebuke, but a bastard will be bitter at such rebuke.

• The reason why a son will never take a chastisement personal is because he understood that is only a loved child that his parent rebuke but an hated child might be left wander astray without any form of guilty. Who are you? a son or a bastard. A son will always see correction as an opportunity to do things better, while a bastard tend to feel is hated for been corrected. The difference between the two is PERCEPTION.

d. That person who is not important to you yet is important to someone somewhere.

• Don't ever allow your shortsightedness makes you see less than you should be seeing. Remember that your opportunity in life will come through or via the recommendation of others (i.e. man). The harvest of your prayers will always come through man and not angels. So, don't be deceived, everyone need someone.

e. If you have the right people in your life then it will advance you farther.

• You don't know who is carrying words for you. We are all created to meet different kind of individuals at various junctions of our lives, but the major goal of meeting people is meeting their purpose. When you meet someone's purpose then you are nearer to your own purpose as well. Iron the bible says sharpens iron.

• It so ironical that some people leave your life and you are relieved, while some come and you are comforted. It is good to recognize those relationships that are important to your success in life. Be careful who you give access to.

f. A gift (talent) will not use itself but it must be out to use.

• If you don't use the gift given to you before you die, you are marked as one of those that came but did not saw and did not conquered. You are among those who came to the world to raise the value of a grave yard. Myles Monroe said

  " the richest place on earth is the grave yard".

  Because so many people came without fulfilling destiny. They wasted all the gifts and potentials that God has deposited in them. My advice for you is to start making impact and making your life count. Remember your talent is never your decision but discovery

g. Joy is independent of external reality, while happiness is based on happenings.

• Joy and happiness is good but I will prefer joy the more. The fact that joy is independent of whatever the situation am passing through, then it is fine to have joy unspeakable because that is the only way to live long. Don't ever allow anyone to determine when you are joyous and happy or when you are not. Be the one determining that in your life. Remember weeping may come in the night but joy will surely come in the morning.
