Whether you like it or not, your data, your privacy has been invaded and there is nothing you and I could do about it!
Conspiracy theories have it that the Big Data companies are owned by the Rulers of The New World Order, Freemasons and Illuminati that supposedly controls the affairs of humanity from Politics to Warfare, social media to the Entertainment industries. True or False, something seems not right with the way the World works, an imbalance that has been in existence from the beginning of Civilization.
Back to Data and privacy saga, there has been a breach; millions if not billions of these free data is being sold to Agencies and Government operations for whatever reasons they needed it for, and each users gets zero as compensations because we have all agreed to the “Terms and Agreement” without paying close attention to the clauses.
Cambridge Analytica Scandal with Facebook exposed so many illicit users private data culling, which was allegedly used to influence US citizens voting ability. In total. 87 million users were affected without their consent; READ FULL ALLEGATION AND SCANDAL AGAINST FACEBOOK HERE.

Assuming Facebook and Zuckerberg don’t really have a hand in this third party App breach/Scandal, only the heavens knows what other platforms had left their users exposed to privacy breach.
DATA ABUSE BOUNTY
The media giant has since begin investigations on App Devs that could have same access as Cambridge Analytica, it also begin a cash reward to anyone who could help whistle blow on developers infringing on informations that should be personal. Will this Data Abuse Bounty work? All fingers crossed as the chances are equally split, pending all other international probes on Facebook is completed.
MESSING WITH BIG DATA COMPANIES
In my spare time, I have decided to ignore all third party Apps on Facebook, Twitter and even pop-up Ads in my emails, those are the media outlets I use after Steemit. Ditch all the surveys you get in your emails as well as I do and I strongly advice you joggle personal information you fill in while you sign up to something new i.e.
- If you live in New York, you could put Nairobi Kenya
- Marital Status, just put married but single.
- Date of Birth could be 1900(If that’s acceptable)
Juggle up sensitive details about you and your family to protect future breach of your personal data, if they can’t protect your privacy, you could…All by yourself!

That's a very good advice and it seems we have like minds.
I have been messing with them data companies for a while now, giving wrong personal information on some of the sites that require detailed personal info.
This will also help others who do not know of this trick yet.
