WRITE DOWN YOUR THOUGHTS... ALWAYS!- My writing and photos for the mid weeksteemCreated with Sketch.

Here is a valuable piece of advice to you that I've learned from my life experience: always write down your thoughts. Keep a notebook (they come in all sizes and styles!) and a pencil (I love pencils!). The moment you have a special thought, write it down. Don't be lazy to take it out of your pocket or purse, and don't ever think you will remember it later. It never happens, as we always forget them and they end up vanishing forever.

Even if they look ridiculous when you write them down, keep them anyway. Do an inner-brainstorming, write down all the "nonsense" that came to your mind. No one else will read them anyway! And then, after a while, go back to them and you will see that, almost always, they make perfect sense.

If you are not a fan of handwriting (I am), if you are a geek, or don't like to carry any extra load, write down your thoughts on your mobile phone. As long as you write, always write down your thoughts!

Also grab a notebook and a pencil and put them on your bedside table, for when you have insomnia, or to write down your dreams or insights when you wake up! These ones are, more often than not, priceless and final, and always make sense. Maybe because we think and dream better while asleep, free from the hustle and bustle of our days... At least that's why I think.

In short, always write down your thoughts. It's you, they are part of you.
Like when you taste some heavenly dish, or drink an unforgettable wine, wishing you could keep the flavor in your mouth forever, those thoughts will last long and, maybe, will end up being an original and wonderful recipe.

I totally agree with you !
I have dozens of notebooks full of thoughts, ideas, list of words, and yes it totally makes sense later when you read an old notebook and you discover a (brilliant) idea you had but maybe not all the elements at this time to make it happens, and now, with a perfect timing orchestrated by the Universe, you have the words already writen, and everything falls into place ^_^
Another thing I have learnt is to never rely on my memory...better write and have it somewhere, for the day it will be useful...there are days I enjoy playing with the words and their sounds, so I write lists of words that i enjoy the sound or related to another word, sometimes in french, sometimes in english, this is a good play for the creativity and also for the simple pleasure of the game...

BTW your photos here are simply delightful ! ;-)

Absolutely true! I do pretty much the same! I have notebooks all over and even write on my phone's notes eventually... The funny thing is that many ideas come to my mind when I have my hands on something manual, and peeling fruit or else. But I just stot, clean my hands and rush to write them. Ahah! Thanks, sweetie, I just love your techno guy sitting on the desk with the laptop. So cute and expressive! Cheers!
