Deep inside, we never change - An inspirational post for the new week
Deep inside, we never change, we are as we are. Even the circumstances of life, although hard, don't change our essence. We are carved at birth, under the sign of a personality, or of the stars, or whatever makes us as we are. Education, the environment in which we live limits or expands us, shapes our personality and teaches us how to live with others in society.
But deep down our gut, our traits are the same and, if age gives us wisdom, teaches us how to manage our emotions, instills the patience necessary for the challenges that arise, the truth is that, in all of this, we show our brand, our raw material that makes us act and make things happen as a result.
Deep inside, we never change. We keep seeing life as we've always seen it, we plunge into it with the head, or with the feet, unaware or fearful, and fall and rise from it stronger but no less equal to ourselves. Deep inside, we never change.
We keep being more rational or emotional, depending on our personality, and making the same mistakes or having the same virtues, believe, or distrust... always.
Deep down, we never change. We are a clay that was shaped at birth and, with more or fewer cracks, we maintain the form and the content that we have always had. Deep inside, we never change, we are unique, each of us. Fortunately.
