Explain me the meaning of love, feeling explotions

How easy is it to explain feelings? Like, hate, admire, regret, most emotions are easy to understand, to recognize, they are easy, because they symbolize one thing each, but love... Love is different, yes it is a chemical reaction in our brains, but the weird part about it is not that. The weird part is that it is hard to recognize the feeling, and it is easy to mess it up with other ones.

Sometimes we think we love when we don't, sometimes we think we don't love when we do. What makes it so complicated? What makes us so confused? Is it even real? Why does it make us so confused when it is supposed to be easy?

The first thing I would like to bring forth is mothers love for her children. Most parents would do anything for their little ones, we call it love. A mixture of survival instinct, wonder and sense of belonging, sense of having someone from your own blood. Love is a feeling like none other, because it is built up from other feelings, that are not always the same. It is more complex than just liking or hating somebody.

Love of another person is a different mixture of feelings, but in the end of the day it is built on not wanting to be lonely. That is what makes me think that love is so misinterpreted with couples. Loneliness is a strong emotion, the feeling that makes us think that we don't belong, that we are alone, no one understands us. The feeling of being alone is the one that makes us rush into things, we so desperately want to connect to somebody that sometimes we end up creating temporary fading love.

Of course, those are the explanations I have come up with. How true these are is each persons own decision. For me love is built up from all the small things, understanding, compassion, liking, the feeling that you can be yourself and yes, love itself. The feeling that makes butterflies come alive in our bellies, the feeling that makes our hearts beat faster, the feeling that makes us a little afraid of loosing the other. It is a connection of all the emotions, linking in weird patterns and making us crazy one time or another.

Love is a mixture of everything, that is why it is so easy to misplace, I mean, look at parental love, they will get angry at you, because they love you and are afraid for your safety, they will hug you and cry because they were afraid you were gone, they will help you with issues that they think are ridiculous. And all this with patience and struggle at the same time. Love ventures in the both sides of us, it is not only good or bad emotions, it is both.

In the end it is wonderful, because there is no other feeling that is so strong, it makes you fly and it makes you strive for more, for all there is, there is love everywhere, in life, in each other, in nature, sun and food. Just a little bit in each, different amounts in every single thing. What or who we feel the most love toward is our own thing, we can't necessarily choose, but when we find that one thing it is worth holding on. I know I will, because for me love is an explosion of all the positive things to fight for.

I love my brother, I love my mom and I love my partner. I try to love myself and I love the world around, so I try to be better for all of it and I always will.
