The Myth Episode 10

"You won't believe what happened at work today. Mr. Pram said to his wife.
"What happened?" She asked him.
"Before I tell you, did you order some computers in my name?" He asked her.
"Yes, I was just about to tell you. I ordered them in your name because we all use the same shipping company and my slots were maxed out, thanks to those supercomputers, but yours were still live, so I thought I'd use yours instead" she replied him as she leaned in and kissed his cheek.
"Okay, that's understandable. Now do you know what happened today?" He asked his wife
"Unless you tell me. Please what went on?"
"Do you know CAID?"
"Yes, I think so. Aren't they in charge of intel against Al-Zay?"
"That's correct. Today I was confronted by two of their agents from their headquarters. It seems Al-Zay has an eye for your machines".
"What?! What do you mean?!"
"Well according to them, those computers of yours were rigged with snoopers. So the second you plugged in those power cables, it's bye bye to PramCo Inc."
"Oh God no! That isn't good. Of all the shipments on that ship they chose mine? Such coincidence."
"And tomorrow, they'll be coming with their team to clear the machines of those pests." He said to her.
"I don't trust these people. Let me call Arnold to clarify if these guys are really from CAID or some impostors trying to steal hardware."
Arnold was the officer in charge of CAID and was respected in the country. All issues concerning CAID were directed to him and he handed them over to his subordinates while he attended other equally important businesses. The phone rang and he wondered who was calling at 9:30pm.
"Hello?" Arnold called out
"Hi there. It's Mrs. Pram"
"Oh, hello. How are you and my old friend doing?"
"Good and you?"
"Great."
"Awesome. I need a favourite Arnold."
"Sure. What is it?"
"Can you please tell me if you have any agents by the names errm... "Richmond and John" her husband supplied Richmond and John?"
"Okay. Hold on. Let me call Edmund to check the database he just updated."
"Alright. I'll be waiting"
The line dropped for a while and went silent.
"I hope this is true." She said to her husband.
"I also hope so too. If those giants fall into the wrong hands, only God knows what could happen." Her husband replied him.
Ring ring ring the phone rang out.
"Well?" She asked expectantly
"Sorry to say, but Agent Richmond and John are in the Upper West Region on an undercover mission to gain some highly classified information about Al-Zay he said.
"Wow, I wish them well, and I hope they come back in one piece." She replied.
"Yeah, I hope so too. Why ask about them anyway?" Arnold asked
Mr. Pram took the phone and replied
"Well, they showed up in my office today talking about some tracers and snoopers planted into my wife's computers and offered to take the spyware out." He said to him
"That's odd. They left 3 days ago and we don't offer IT services like that. So it's either we have impostors or something. What agreement did you guys reach?"
"I told them to come tomorrow with their specialists tomorrow." Mr. Pram told him
"Good. I'd send a dispatch tomorrow to apprehend them. We need to question them and identify who they are, what organisation they work for and why they're imposing as CAID agents." Arnold said.
"Okay. Send them early so I can show them to the security team. They will be informed of the updates and will be made ready incase anything funny should happen." Mr. Pram replied him
"Time now is 9:45 pm. In 30 minutes, they will be at your facility." Arnold told him.
"That's fine by me. I'd be waiting for them with my security team."
Mrs. Pram cast a hard glance at her husband and pointed to a day coloured in red on the calendar with her eyes saying, "what did you say?" Mr. Pram ignored his wife and continued his chat with Arnold.
"Good they're on their way now, I'd be leaving you to attend to them." Arnold said.
"Okay, thanks for helping us." Mr. Pram said to him.
Mrs. Pram snatched the phone from her husband and literally shouted into the microphone.
"Is it imperative that he goes to the facility this night?" She worriedly asked.
"That decision was up to him Stephanie, it's entirely up to him. Maybe you can talk him out of it, but the squad I dispatched are on their way." Arnold replied her.
"Okay. Arnold. Thanks for the favour. I really appreciate it." Mrs. Pram said to him.
"Don't worry. Anytime." Arnold said and hunged up.
Stephanie Pram cast a hard glance at her husband and started.
"Today is a hotspot. You can't go this night." She pleadingly said
"I know, but we need to identify these guys." Her husband replied her.
"Can't it wait? I am really prepared and in the mood. Please?" She pleadingly asked again.
"Okay, tell you what, we'd make it two nights after today, okay?" Mr. Pram said as he leaned in and kissed his wife.
"Okay. I understand. Please stay safe and get back in one piece." She understood and allowed him to go.
Mr. Pram grabbed his coat, his keys and started his car to supervise what was going on at his facility
