In The Distant Future, Humanity Has Regressed.

Tribes of Hunter-Gathereres once again roam the lands, struggling daily for their survival.

All that remains of the once great Civilizations of Man are the ruins. Their knowledge, their understanding, and their secrets have been all but lost to the passage of time.

Hello Everyone! Welcome to Steemit's very first interactive series, where you will have PLENTY of opportunities to win SBD for participating!

The Rules are Simple:

1. Each week, I will upload a brand new chapter (or two) to our story!
2. At the end of every chapter, you, the reader, will be presented with a few pre-determined choices deciding what direction the story will take. Your choice will determine how our story develops, and the ultimate fate of humanity!
3. You are allowed to participate in every chapter, even if you've already won.

And that's it.

Below I will explain exactly what you can win, and how you can win it.

What You Can Win:

After every chapter, I will split 100% of my SBD payout between 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place winners.

The winners from each chapter will win:

1st Place: 50% the total value the chapter generates in SBD
2nd Place: 30% the total value the chapter generates in SBD
3rd Place:: 20% the total value the chapter generates in SBD

So, what does this mean?

Well....

The more value the chapter generates, the higher the payout.

For example, lets say the chapter generates $100 SBD.

That means:

1st Place wins $50 in SBD
2nd Place wins $30.00 in SBD
3rd Place wins $20.00 in SBD

In other words, the more value the chapter generates before being paid out after 7 days, The Bigger the Prizes will be.

So that means if the chapter were to generate say, $400 SBD in value, the prizes would be:

1st Place wins $200.00 in SBD
2nd Place wins $120.00 in SBD
3rd Place wins $80.00 in SBD

So the Size of the Prizes are up to you! The Higher the Value, the bigger the prizes!

Now that that's been explained, lets talk about what you need to do in order to be eligible to win.

How to Enter:

1. Follow me @iamjustincscott (not mandatory but you'll know when I post a new contest, in other words, a new chance to win)

2. Re-steem the Chapter. (Also not mandatory but I WILL BE CHECKING TO SEE WHO DOES THIS. And yes, it will be considered in my judgement.)

3. Leave a comment below explaining:

• What your choice is.

• Why you would like to see the story develop in that direction as opposed to any of the other options.

• What you think the consequences of that choice should be for the characters and their world, and why it should benefit, or hinder, their progress.

• One idea of your own that you think would make the story better.

And that's all.

I will determine the winners based on what I feel to be the most creative, thought out, and compelling responses. Responses that either fall in line with what I have envisioned for the series OR responses that convince me to re-direct the series entirely.

Like I said, what happens, will ultimately be left up to you.

Final Thoughts

1. Winners will be announced and prizes distributed at the payout of each chapter (7 days after posting)

2. I will try to decide new winners for every chapter, however it is entirely possible to win more than once.

3. There will be surprise giveaways, contests, and honorable mentions as the series progresses.

4. Remember to have fun and try not to think too hard about the prizes. This is a project for everybody and I'm excited to make it something worth while with you.

5. I will create a post announcing the winners of each chapter the day after payout and why I picked them.
