Why I was away
I have been away from Steemit for some days because of a sudden road trip up to the Northern areas of Pakistan and it is nothing less than a heaven on earth to say the least. Lack of facilities and opportunities for the local community is a valid point but on the other side nature has blessed the land with immense potential and many hidden treasures. Most of the areas are closed in winters due to heavy snow and landsliding.Most areas have tough weather conditions, it can rain anytime in summer and can snow anytime in winters. This fortunately is a reason for a lot of tourists from all around the country and abroad fro visiting the northern areas.
Tourism industry can be a real deal for any country but given the political instability and security issues it could never develop to its full potential, in the last 3,4 years although the tourism industry is on a rise giving the nation something to cheer about. There are many countries which are being run solely on tourism, such can be done in the northern parts too. Look at this one for example
We visited some of the places and had a very good time. I was away from Steemit for the same reason but I collected enough content for further posts and will be uploading a lot of those soon. I will hopefully soon be done with the tiredness and sleep to be more active here than before. Have a great day everyone

Yeah very busy lately, came back home had to go university for admissions, went on a road trip and then now its Eid festival here. Hopefully within a day I'l be free like before.

yes I checked out you post , loved the photos !! nothing new , though weather is turning rubbish , how is the weather there ? was the road trip a solo trip or with family and friends ?
Trip was with my elder brother and a cousin and a friend from the village, weather in the hills was superb, it rained most of the times and was too cold. Weather in the city here is different, its hot for most of the day. Am glad you loved the photos :) how about a road trip to the hilly areas near you?
