Violent Dreams

you keep your guns, you keep your lies,
you tell me to hold on and then you fly
I've loved you for so long with nothning to show
I'll live today to save tomorrow.

My heart is torn into pieces as I write this, I was told I should look to the light, that perhaps there's some glitter beyond the horizon. My loved ones are hurt as the days go by, we live in horrible conditions, the basic things are luxuries to my people. I know I'm spoilt or so they say, apparently speaking the truth means I'm looking for trouble, the reason for living is simply living, while these rich 1% take everyting for themselves.

When my tears dry, I'll see the sky, my blurry vision of nothingness will return to me. The darkness I dwell in is my curse to bear, to find a way out of it is my mission to care.
Let me wallow in this silent night with no holiness in sight, let the jackals come from behind me nto consume my flesh, let the hyenas eat my decayed carcas; at least I fed a hungry soul and it's more than you ever did for anyone.

Money is your god and we dance to its tune, it tells us to do the unsavory and we dance to its tune. It tells us to hurt our brothers and we dance to its tune, it tells us and we simply dance. I want to go deaf.
I play scenarios in my mind, I'm hurting you and your families and I'm not kind, I'm showing the 1% that 99 is a bigger number; I'm the violent words of the other but alas, these grimace tunes reside only in my subconscious.
A time will come when you shall hurt us no more, when the dreams of the beautiful unborn will shine through like light in the dark. Untill that day I stay patient. Playing out diferent violent solutions, I hope they never come to life.
