Ho ho ho es ist wieder #rapthursday dank @flipstar! Das heißt es ist nur noch ein Tag bis zum Wochenende und heute ist ein guter Tag für HipHop!

Da heute morgen bei uns im Haus der Kaffee alle war und ich mich mit Earl Grey wecken musste hab ich das dringende Bedürfnis euch englischen HipHop zu präsentieren, daher gibts heute was über Mike Skinner aka The Streets.

In Nord London geboren, zog er mit fünf Jahren nach Birmingham und wuchs dort in einer Arbeitersiedlung auf. Mit seinem Projekt The Streets rapt er über die alltäglichen Lebensumstände der arbeitenden Bevölkerung und entschied sich dafür auf Cockney zu rappen - dem traditionellen Arbeiter-Dialekt.

Aber jetzt ist genug geschrieben, hört euch den Kollegen doch einfach selbst an!

Ho ho ho it's #rapthursday again thanks to @flipstar! That means it's only one day left until the weekend and today is a good day for HipHop!

Since we ran out of coffee at our house this morning and I had to wake up with Earl Grey, I have the urgent need to present you english HipHop, so there's something about Mike Skinner aka The Streets today.

Born in North London, he moved to Birmingham at the age of five and grew up in a workers' housing estate. With his project The Streets, he rapped about the daily living conditions of the working population and decided to rap on Cockney - the traditional workers' dialect.

But now enough has been written, just listen to him yourself!
