That’s a really eerie reflection. The world has been looking like that to me recently, normal on the outside, but twisted and distorted on the inside.
A seven year old student at one of the schools I work at was murdered this past week and I really don’t know how to process it. I feel like I shouldn’t be as emotional about it as I am, but it’s really shaking me up.
That's not something I would expect to hear from Japan, and I'm so sorry to hear about that. If I recall correctly, in the past you've written about events that have troubled you. Perhaps that may be helpful to you again, a way to process those feelings. You have my sympathy.
Yes, it’s very unusual and shocking, especially because it happened in a rather small community. I probably will write about it some time.
