@suggeelson Witness Update 10/08/2017
Technical stuff
"Error" in my config.ini, cause to miss 2 blocks but thanks to @someguy123 he found the error and now all works well as expected.
The problem.
I put the following code:
witness = "suggeelson"
private-key = 5xxxxxxxxxxxxx
to the end of data/witness_node_data_dir/config.ini
This cause error and I miss 2 blocks. After consulting with the @someguy123, I moved the code just after the witness plugin
First block is produced
I'm glad to announce that we officially processed the first block, thanks to @jerrybanfield he vote me as a witness and now I'm on 92 positions including inactive witnesses and 84 positions excluding inactive one.
You can check the active witness rank here. This awesome tool provided by @drakos he also helps me to arrange seed nodes on my witness by latency and now server is in an optimal state. If you are interested you can check the guide here
What is next?
I plan to upgrade witness server to 32GB RAM next month, blockchain use around 80% RAM right now and i want to assure all going smoothly without problems and missed blocks.
