KLYE Witness Update - 2016/12/9
Hail STEEM community! Hope you are fairing well on your journeys!
After missing last week's self imposed witness update post scheduling due to eye troubles a special effort was made this week to have my witness update done on time and be more in depth than last weeks. Without further wait here is this week's witness update.
This Week as STEEM Witness
Wrote a Visual Guide to steem.global Faucet Claiming
A short visual guide was written containing instructions on how to claim a bit of free STEEM each day from the faucet I launched on top of my steem.global seed node. Currently resyncing the seednode / faucet and will have it up shortly.
Steem-Roller.com Development is Now Main Focus
After asking the community on if I should focus majority of development hours between either the steem-roller.com or streemit.online projects the decision weighed in that I should focus on the steem-roller.com project. There is still a fair amount to be done in regards to designing, coding and testing. While the site is currently up and running it's entirely with imaginary STEEM at the moment and it WILL see frequent changes as progress continues on the site. So far the community has opted they'd like investment leveraging and a 20x amount was the only multiplier vote cast so far.
Wallet Changes Coming to streemit.online
Some Pre-Weekend Maintenance on Servers
Updates to Steem Backed Dollar APR
(screencap of witness parameters update - steemdb.com)
Personal Record Achieved for Blocks + Uptime
(screencap of daily blocks witnessed - steemdb.com)
Aside from the Main & Backup Witness Crash of November 18th my witness uptime and block production has been pretty darn good lately! Hopefully not jinxing anything but I think in the near future I'll actually see myself inducted into the top 19 witness list. Have a good one!
Vote @klye for Witness!

i mainly voted you for witness because I like your hair. Meanwhile, you're killing it. Stay weird, awesome dude.
LOL. Thanks for the laugh man.
Appreciate the support.
It is good hair. I wouldn't mind hair like that lol:) Mine is almost all gone.
It seriously was the FIRST thing I noticed about klye, that good hur. Followed by his curiously red eyes ;)
Lol:)

Thanks for all you do for us, @klye!
Appreciate the kind words.
Good job! Hows the HF16 block processing? Is your OS handling it well? I heard about some SDD possible issues from linux kernel. Thanks.
I do not recommend running HDD systems for HF16.
They chug in comparison to SSD systems from my research
Yes, I don't think anyone is, but I put it there anyways.
But you didn't answer my question.
On ubuntu I'm doing perfect.
Block processing is seamless on my dedicated servers. :)
Thank you for the update and all your hard work, @klye. Hopefully everything runs well with no hiccups. Glad to know your eyes are doing better too. Keep healthy, would ya? ;)
Health? what is that? :P
Hiccups are what make this work fun. Cheers merej99
Just for the fun of saying it: the local temperature reached 45 Celsius today, under the shadow :)
-26c without the wind.. -_-
And in 2 days, Montreal... I am scared of the thermic shock ^^
Thanks for keeping us posted mate:)
You are very welcome.
Your still vote on my witness list ^_^
