My fellow Steemians,

Welcome to my witness update. This is something I do as some other witnesses do too. Hopefully, this will keep my followers and the community up-to-date with what I've been up to. Ultimately, I hope I may gain your witness approval vote.

Upgraded all nodes to the latest 0.19.0 HF. The transition went well as all witnesses updated and the network switched over. The linear rewards curve was among the features and allowed everyone to have a proportional say with their stake. The proposal for the next release has already been published and will allow the network to scale globally.
I've reached 1000 followers! It's passed 1150 now since that post, which is incredible! I have been a Steemian for almost a year now and glad to have experienced this journey.
My PeerPlays witness bitcoiner is now active! If you have participated in their ICO, you can now claim the balances through their GUI wallet.

Thanks to everyone who have voted for me as witness. I am currently at rank 28! Thanks to all who support me and like what I do. It is all very much appreciated!

Thanks @bitcoiner this is something all witnesses should do - this is a BIG help!

As a new minnow I didn't know I should have the max 30 witnesses (I only have one now) and it is a daunting task to attempt to meet or learn about hundred witnesses I have never chatted with.

PS: any update on the convincing more whales to power up - rather than cash out and power down?

@timcliff provides a guide on witness voting and also a weekly collection of witness update posts... could be a good place to start.

As for whales powering down, it's hard to convince them to stay if they want to move on. But, they selling their steem to the free market means there will be more available to potential buyers who really want the tokens more.. the next wave of investors. This is the ideal redistribution event and adoption that will help in the long term.
