In a recent statement, Fox News has disavowed the May 16th story linking Seth Rich to Wikileaks.

On May 16, a story was posted on the Fox News website on the investigation into the 2016 murder of DNC Staffer Seth Rich. The article was not initially subjected to the high degree of editorial scrutiny we require for all our reporting. Upon appropriate review, the article was found not to meet those standards and has since been removed.

We will continue to investigate this story and will provide updates as warranted.

Reporter, Malia Zimmerman, who first aired the story on the company's affiliate Fox 5 has had her story scrubbed from the internet. This is reminiscent of the removal a pizzagate report made by Ben Swann another investigative reporter, this time with CBS, in February 2017. It remains to be seen if any further action will be taken by Fox in regards to Zimmerman.

On May 17th, Fox 5 published an update to their original story after Rod Wheeler backtracked from his original comments, telling CNN “he only learned about the possible existence of such evidence through the reporter he spoke to for the FoxNews.com story. He explained that the comments he made to WTTG-TV were intended to simply preview Fox News’ Tuesday story. The WTTG-TV news director did not respond to multiple requests for comment.

“‘I only got that [information] from the reporter at Fox News,’ Wheeler told CNN.”

Private investigator Rod Wheeler, who appeared in Zimmerman's original piece has backed away from statements he made in the segment claiming there is 'tangible evidence' connecting Seth Rich to the whistleblowing organization Wikileaks. Wheeler was also sharply criticized by (supposed) Rich family spokesman, Brad Bauman, a democratic party surrogate and PR crisis consultant. Bauman has also launched a 'cease and desist' order against Wheeler threatening possible further legal action.

And yeah... they are trying to get in front of some revelations related to this... call this a preemptive attempt at damage control. I hear we may hear some big things possibly over the weekend and at the very least early next week (after the Memorial Day holiday on Monday).

I agree, totally preemptive. The Dem PR guy "speaking for the family" even said that "even if emails were shown, it wouldn't prove anything because they could be tampered with." They are SO SCARED!

Absolutely, there's a lot of smoke and their frantic to stamp it out.

I agree, i think we're coming close to some sort of tipping point!

Why is the Dem party doing everything possible to STOP a murder investigation?

Exactly, it just screams cover-up

Doesn't surprise me.They don't like real news

I saw indications Ben Swann is still alive, but he's been pretty damn quiet. That's too bad as he is perhaps my favorite journalist.

Yeah, there was someone who posted about some kind of 4 part tax series...actualy i think you and I chatted about that a few weeks back. Seriously, where is the guy?

I'm not sure if it was me or not. I guess it could be and I just don't remember. Though "4 part tax" doesn't ring any bells.
