Why SteemIt.com? - Me, Myself and I.

Hello everyone. I am new here and just before I start posting my stories and articles I just want to provide you a quick introduction of myself and how I knew about the SteemIt website.

So first of all, my name is Mel and I am 3rd among four siblings. I am from the Philippines, and currently a student. I'm living in Caloocan City, Metro Manila with my cousins.

My Mom died when I was in second grade. So my Dad since then is the only one raising me and my siblings. I wanted to help my Dad by all means possible, and since I'm still a student there is really nothing I can do to actually help him out financially, atleast. But, I never lose hope.

One day, I am thinking all posible resources I can think of to be able to make money. And since only a phone and my cousins is what I have available, I had to make the most out of it.

I started with cloud mining websites. If you have heard about it, cloud mining websites are websites that pays you some percentage of your total deposits. So from the left over of my daily allowance, I saved them up and started investing.

At first, things are going really well. From my capital of roughly $50 I am earning up to $5 per day and I was promised that my capital will be back to me 10 days after guaranteed. I got roughly $20 of my total investment and the worse thing happened. The website [ Auroramine.com ] I'm not sure if anyone of you here familiar with it, just went down all of a sudden. Yes, it shuts down taking away my remaining $30 without a word. I was devastated. I was shocked. My money was taken away just like that. That was my allowance and I saved hard for it.

My disappointment and frustration put me up on a next level. I have to get that money back by all means possible. Unfortunately, days has passed and the website where I invested my money in to never came back. It's all gone, it's all hopeless. So what I did, I went online, joined groups related to bitcoins and online investments. I was begging. Yes, I am begging for people to give me bitcoins or give me money to get back what I wasted. But it did not turn out okay. I thought asking wouldn't be bad but those people I asked help from even called me a "cyber beggar".

That hurt my feelings, I thought to myself. I can't be like this forever. I have to earn money to help myself and my Dad but in a way that I wouldn't need to beg and be insulted by other people.

So, I came out with another idea. I started a YouTube Channel that features cloud mining websites. I am asking people to sign up or register under my referal link. With my video reviews, I am sharing with them how a particular website work, and if they're interested with it, by registering under my link, I will be able to earn $0.03 each. Not too big, but it helps and atleast I am not begging people for it.

One day, someone approached me. He knew my status in life and he knew that I am willing to do whatever it takes to be able to help myself and my family and he adviced me that I can join SteemIt if I wanna make money while sharing others my life and my story. So today, I started an account with you guys. I would like to thank the guy who refered me here and I am writing this not just for me, but I am writing this for my family.
