White is White Challenge - Sunday Anything Goes - Christmas Tree Cookies
Hi Steem friends,
Another Christmas related photo for you all! I'm getting more and more into the holiday spirit as we creep closer to the big day!
For my entry today into the whiteiswhite challenge, I am sharing a photo that I took this afternoon while I was making Christmas cookies with some of my friends. If you like baking, check out my post from yesterday where we made some swirly Christmas sugar cookies!
Today, however, we decided to go with some more traditional sugar cookies. As you can see, we laid out some white parchment paper on a baking sheet and laid our cookies on top in a very orderly fashion. This sheet contained only our pinkish/redish Christmas tree cookies topped with a healthy serving of red, white and green sprinkles. In addition to the Christmas tree shapes, we also made several other shapes including Christmas sweaters and snowflakes. If you keep an eye out over the next few days, perhaps I'll share some photos of those other ones!
After the cookies had finished baking, we also topped them with some icing sugar to give them an extra sugary taste!
