Smartphone Photography Challenge - Swirled Christmas Sugar Cookies

Hi Steem friends,

For my entry today into the smartphonephotography challenge, I am sharing a photo that I took this evening while my girlfriend and I were baking some Christmas sugar cookies. These weren't just any plain Christmas cookies though - we wanted to make some creative ones, so we decided to add in a special swirl! To do this, we used some food coloring to turn half of our dough green and half of it red - in the Christmas spirit! We then used a rolling pin to flatten out the dough, we placed one sheet of dough on top of the other, and we rolled the combined dough up into a tube. We then cut up the dough into thin slices which formed our cookies and we we added some sprinkles to the edges.
