What is whaleshares?

Whaleshares is a token on the bitshares network created by @officialfuzzy .

How do they work?

The working of whaleshares is pretty simple. You send some whaleshares to a whale who supports the whaleshares project and the whales upvotes your content.

For example, you have 10 whaleshares. You have written a post that you want to get a whale vote on. In order to do that, follow the steps below:

1. Copy the link of your post
2. Go to http://www.whaleshares.net
3. Paste link of your post and copy the memo you get
4. Send the amount of whaleshares you want to a whale with the memo you recieved in step 2 to the bitshares address of Ned. In this example we choose Ned. Each whaleshare amount to a 1% upvote so if you send 10 whaleshares you get a 10% upvote from Ned.
5. Enjoy your new found riches!

How to get some?

Whaleshares are not for sale just yet. So the only way to get them is by the contest some users are running or by simply hanging out in the whaleshares discord channel
