I see you've been here a while.

I assume you – like the rest of us – post with hopes that you'll attract readers, make connections (and perhaps a coin or two) – maybe even friends. I know that's been the most valuable part of my experience on this blockchain...the community/people.

I also know that there's so much support available to people who offer the same. Though my vote isn't so valuable at present (thank you bear market), I do enjoy dropping high percentage votes on well-deserving posts.

That said; I can't justify acknowledging (by way of upvotes and relevant comments) the efforts of folks who wander the chain dropping downvotes on users they've never met nor interacted with – conveying a blatant disregard for the quality of the content they're blindly 'flagging'. I'm quite certain I speak for many of us in this regard.

I realize you have some grievance with a specific person, and you feel your behavior (you and your two alter-egos dropping downvotes all over the place) is an appropriate response. Yet I have to wonder; is this really a satisfying way to engage/interact?

Why paint such an unfriendly brush across such a wide swath of people, simply because one person – whom they happen to be associated with – did something to seriously upset you?

Perhaps you're just hoping someone will pause long enough to ask you why, rather than reflexively writing you off and/or blacklisting you along with all the other 'lost causes'?

Is this a case of...pushing away the very thing you so crave? Is it simply stubbornness, like some ongoing furrowed brow grumble you just can't let go of?

I'm so curious what would happen if you dared to experiment with kindness, if for no other reason than solely for the sake of research.

Wouldn't it be nice to not have all your posts hidden? How awesome would it be to actually show up in people's feeds, rather than being globally 'muted' and thought of as little more than a pesky mosquito – easily disregarded as only the most minor, meaningless nuisance?

It's not too late to adjust how you show up here. You may find this platform quite a bit more forgiving than you now imagine.

We'll be here, ready to smile warmly in your direction as soon as you stop scowling at everyone you come across.
