Bright and Cheery WednesdayYellow
I'm grateful for this WednesdayYellow and how bright and cheery this photograph is that I have to share.
It's a rainy, close to freezing day here in Texas.
Overcast, gloomy, wet, humid and breezy.
It's been so for a couple of days already,
and it seems we have a few more in store.
Just posting this image has a warming effect,
which just by looking at it, makes me feel all cozy inside.
Taken on a walk through Lisbon, Portugal before Steemfest2. This yellow leaf was laying on the sidewalk next to this yellow wall, and this metal hoop just happened to be embedded in the wall, the perfect receptacle and eye-height for a spectacular shot.
I found this website that talks about different meanings/associations with the color yellow,
many of which I already felt, but others I hadn't really considered.
It's amazing how we can be affected by the colors around us,
even though we may not be aware that it is the color per se.
Of course everyone has their own connection with colors,
and for me, on this day, I love the cheery, fuzzy warmth it evokes within me,
as well as the feelings of hope, happiness, clarity, and well being.
I hope this color serves you today.

This was a very simple yet warming post to read :) So glad i stopped by. I've always loved yellow strangely enough.. Maybe due to curious george lol idk. I love looking into the meaning behind different things. I keep seeing things in 3's and it has quite the fascinating meaning of protection. Wow! This is so pleasing to the eye. Your type of person is unique, how do you give so much attention to that leaf? I can't imagine how you were able to spot the leaf not to talk of you adding value to it by taking it picture.... So captivating!😍😍😍
I am just kind of weird in that way. I always see some of the most minute details. Color, shadows, reflection, texture, composition...are all just a very big part of my awareness. I was awesome not only that the building and wall were so vibrant, but the leaf the same color--and the little loop on the wall at my perfect height for reaching and taking a photo. Life is just interesting for me that way. I'm grateful you appreciate it @olamilekan21.
I have to appreciate it the more, because this is the very first time I would see someone giving so much attention to things like that. I so much envy your type of beingn...
